Since 2000

As the French leader in the bitumen market, Total supplies the bitumen for one third of the road works carried out in France.

 

These works can represent contracts ranging from a single truck to more than 25,000tonnes delivered to a mobile station.

 

Recently, Total have been present on the largest French highway projects:

 

  • A87 (between Angers and Les Essarts) : between 2001 and 2002, involving 60,000tonnes of Azalt 35/50 for ASF.
  • A89 (between Tulle and Ussel and in Périgueux) : between 2001 and 2004, involving 52,000tonnes of Azalt 35/50 for ASF.
  • A83 (Niort and South Nantes) : between 2000 and 2002, involving 25,000tonnes Azalt 35/50 for ASF.
  • RCEA (between Dompierre and Digoin) : during the last quarter of 2002, involving 13,000tonnes Azalt 35/50 delivered at a high rate for the French state.
  • A13 (Bayeux) : between 2002 and 2003, involving 13,000tonnes of Modulotal 10/20 for SAPN.
  • The Mont Blanc tunnel and F1 track at Monaco : both of these ambitious projects have involved the use of Styrelf.
